LC: To effectively apply the features of a menu.
Dear Year 3
Thank you so much for your amazing menus. I am sure that every spider in town will want to eat at our restaurant when they see what we are offering! However, we would still like a few more ideas. In your classes, share the menus you created with each other. Maybe you could add a few of someone else's ideas to your own. I am really looking forward to seeing what else you can produce and maybe we can keep a few for our Autumn and Winter menus.
Thank you once again.

Ivan was afraid. He was more afraid than he had ever been, for nobody had ever seen Starjik’s land and lived to return home. His head was bowed and he cried a little as he went along, and his tears became pips of ice before they touched the snow. He was afraid and sometimes he almost turned around, to follow his footprints back to his father’s house. But then he would see in his mind a picture of his brother, holding out his arms and crying, in a place that was cold beyond imagining. And then Ivan would brush away his tears and go on.
R - What part of the text tells us that Ivan won't give up trying to find his brother?
I - Ivan is feeling sad but he must be feeling another emotion to to keep on going, what emotion might that be?
C - Why has the author used the words "pips of ice" to describe Ivan's tears?
