Subtraction of numbers within 10

 

 

Let's have a look at some together. 

 

In a packet there are 10 crayons. My friend borrows 4 colours. How many do I have left to use? 

 

10 - 4 = 6

 If we have 7 and take 2 away, how many would be left?
