Today we are going to learning about measuring. 

Lets think, 

• How did the Number blocks find out how tall the sunflowers were?

• Why did they need to measure them?

• What could we use to measure our bowls?

Look at the 3 bowls in front of you

• Which bowl do you think is bigger?

• Which bowl looks smaller?

• How could we find out?

• Can we use something to help us measure?

  We are going to be measuring the bowls using number blocks.

  

While you are filling the bowls up with the number blocks, count how many fit into the bowl.
