What do we use technology for?

What devices have you seen?

What can we use a tablet or computer for?

Who helps you use technology safely?

Remember these three rules.

1. Ask first. Typing Lessons | Logging In Safely: Activity - Typing.com

“I ask my trusted adult before I go online or click on something new.”

2. Tell someone. ネットトラブルイラスト|無料イラスト・フリー素材なら「イラストAC」

“If something feels strange, scary or confusing, I tell a trusted adult.”

3. Stay together. Digital Literacy for Kids: Teaching Online Safety & Smart Habits Early | Nurture Academy

“A grown-up helps me choose what to watch, play and share.”

Can a computer make things?

“AI stands for artificial intelligence. It is a kind of computer technology that can help make pictures, stories, music and answers. Sometimes it makes things up, and sometimes it gets things wrong. We need a grown-up to help us.”

Three rules for using AI safely

Only use ai with a trusted adult.

Never type your name, school, address or other personal information into an ai tool.

Ai gets things wrong, always check with a trusted adult if something is true.
